WE HARDLY SAW ANOTHER SOUL!

 

We recently took a weekend way north of the border (barely) to Scotland. Somewhere that stood out to us the most was Belhaven Bay and Tyninghame.

Belhaven Bay, located near the charming coastal town of Dunbar in East Lothian, Scotland, is renowned for its expansive sandy beach that stretches over two miles. Nestled between the picturesque Belhaven Bay Golf Club and the John Muir Country Park, this coastal paradise offers a unique blend of scenic landscapes, diverse wildlife, and recreational opportunities. The bay boasts a pristine environment and is recognised as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) that ensures the preservation of its natural treasures.

The water was clear as day and of course, as you can in Scotland, we pitched up for the night.
